1) How long will my first appointment take?
This time varies depending on the condition for which you are being treated and whether x-rays are performed. Our doctors deliver individual attention and quality care. Please allow a minimum of one hour.
2) What information do I need to bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, a list of medications and your insurance referral if needed. Bring with you any x-rays, MRI's, or other test results related you the condition for which you are being treated. (Hospitals, x-ray facilities, and doctors offices may not be able to provide these to our office in time for your visit.)
3) Do I need to have a referral to make an appointment?
Some insurances require referrals. You will need to check with your insurance company for specific requirements.
4) Which hospitals are The Bone and Joint Surgery Clinic Physicians affiliated with?
Rex Hospital, Due Health Raleigh Hopsital, WakeMed North HealthPlex
5) If I am admitted to the hospital, will my physcian take care of me there?
Yes, if we are the admitting physician. If not, your admitting physician will contact us if he or she requires our assistance.
6) What happens to me if I am admitted to a hospital where my doctor is not on staff?
We will assist the admitting physician with any information he or she needs to help care for you. However, we cannot follow you while in a facility in which we do not have admitting privileges.
7) Do you have a wheelchair in your office?
Yes. Please let our receptionist know if you would like assistance.
8) Do you file insurance?
Yes, if we are contracted with your insurance. If not, we will provide you with a form to file your own insurance.
9) What credit cards do you accept?
We gladly accept Visa and Mastercard.
