David M. Fajgenbaum, M.D., P.A.
Dr. David M. Fajgenbaum was born and raised in the West Indies. He attended Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, as an undergraduate and continued to attend for medical school. He completed an internship in general surgery and then completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery, both at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. David M. Fajgenbaum has written publications in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS) and has also given presentations on "The Results of Knee Replacements."
Dr. David M. Fajgenbaum has been a member of the Amercian Board of Orthopedic Surgery since September 1981. He served on the Board of Trustees at Raleigh Community Hospital, Ravenscroft School, and North Ridge Country Club. He is on the Local Advisors Board at North State Bank. Dr. David Fajgenbaum has been a team physician for the North Carolina State University (NCSU) Wolfpack football team since 1989.
His interests are total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders) and sports medicine (i.e. arthroscopic meniscal surgery, ACL - anterior cruciate ligament - reconstruction).
